In these difficult times of fear of catching the Covid virus with lock-in’s, lockdowns and lock-ups, we still have to remind those who might need us that we are here and ready to help. A team of members recently set up a gift stall in Beaumont-du-Périgord market and were delighted with the response. Trade was good and some funds were raised but the most valuable part of the day was the contacts that were made with market-goers from the area. When we talk about the work that CSF does, it is rare that we do not find someone who needs help and this was a great opportunity to tell visitors about what we do; we received a number of requests from those who had not heard about CSF. It was a very successful day, spreading the word and creating awareness that CSF is ready to help anyone touched by cancer. Many thanks to Finn Kennedy, Dr Francette Baillet, Kate Wildey, Suzie Brewster and Kathleen Chambers for such a good day.
